Nutrition plays a vital role in growth and development of preschool children. Inadequate nutrition may lead to malnutrition, growth retardation; reduce work capacity and poor mental and social development. The Better knowledge, positive attitude and good practices of mothers regarding nutrition plays an important role in achieving the good health of children, as the mother is the main provider of the primary care of her child therefore mother’s nutritional knowledge and attitude have great influence on their children’s nutritional status.
