The main aim of the study is to construct sustainable and stylish garments/products for young college going girls as the waste generated from textile and apparel sector, has become a major problem for the environment. So, the up cycling of textile and apparel is rapidly gaining importance. Upcycle garments were designed and then selected garment constructed. The acceptability of the constructed garments was assessed on a suitable index developed for this purpose. Five designs and accessories were developed from the used garments. Old garments like–top, skirt, jeans, t-shirts etc were used. These garments were made according to the going on trend. As a designer special attention was given to reuse upcycled textile and eco-friendly products, and sustainable fashion. In this research reuse of up cycling and discarded textile scrap were analyzed.
