Author(s): Khushaboo and Promila Krishna Chahal
Abstract:
The socioeconomic characteristics and dietary habits of women in the rural and urban areas of the districts of Hisar and Fatehabad in Haryana were investigated in this study. A survey of 1000 women was conducted to evaluate their family structure, caste, educational background, dietary intake, including macronutrients, and demographic traits. The results showed that most of the women were between the ages of 23 and 25, were students, were unmarried, and were found to be from nuclear families.
