Abstract:Nanotechnology is transforming food science by introducing ground-breaking solutions that improve food safety, quality, and sustainability. This study examines the cutting-edge uses of nanotechnology in food systems, with an emphasis on nutrition delivery, packaging innovation, contaminant detection, and agricultural breakthroughs. Ten contemporary studies (2021-2024) are analysed to identify breakthroughs and obstacles. The summary examines technology deployment patterns and includes key considerations about safety, regulatory hurdles, and consumer acceptability. Despite its revolutionary potential, considerable gaps in knowledge and practice remain, demanding focused multidisciplinary research. This report finishes by outlining possible future uses for nanotechnology, establishing it as a cornerstone of modern food systems.
