Abstract:The rising burden of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) among the rural and urban population in India is a growing concern, to address this sustainable strategies for improving community health should be prioritized. The Moringa Oleifera plant is indigenous locally grown plant with minimal water and soil requirements reported to be rich in essential vitamins, minerals, phytochemicals, antioxidants and supports local economies, making it a valuable resource for nutrition and sustainability. This review assesses the potential of Moringa Oleifera supplementation in improving community health through its nutritional value and sustainability. A comprehensive literature review was conducted online and data was collected from secondary sources, incorporating pre- and post-intervention studies, clinical and randomized trials. Descriptive analysis of data was done and key findings were summarized. The results indicated that Moringa oleifera has significant potential in improving community health through its rich nutrient composition and bioactive properties. Various studies reported significant improvements in systolic blood pressure, lipid profiles (increase in high density lipoprotein (HDL) levels), anemia markers (increase in hemoglobin), and CD4 counts (T-helper cells) among diverse groups including diabetic patients, pregnant women, and HIV-positive individuals. However, further research is needed to standardize dosages and confirm long-term benefits, ensuring its integration into public health initiatives
