Women empowerment through employment and their progress: A comparative study in Hazaribag District

Abstract:
The women’s empowerment, ranging from strong support to criticism. While some respondent’s gives strong positive views regarding their empowerment. Present perspective gives more emphasis on women’s empowerment means equal opportunities and rights for women. The study was conducted in Sadar Block of Hazaribag district Women empowerment through employment and their progress. The sample of 240 working women 120 each from government non-government organizations. Highly educated and middle educated. Questionnaire/Schedule for information and for assessing the problems and empowerment of working women was used. Empowerment not only to make women economically viable but also provide all means of her respect, they should have freedom of thoughts and power of decision making. Gender equality and empowerment of women a very serious issues in our society as well as for National context.
