Abstract:
In the recent decades, proper education and better awareness, in addition to the ever-increasing cost of living has made women to go out and choose careers. Undoubtedly, without the active participation of women in national activities, the social, economic or political progress of a country will deteriorate and become stagnant. The study was conducted in Sadar Block of Hazaribag district. Working women of Hazaribag, facing problems and adjustment with home and workplace. Women empowerment is very essential for their development. The sample of 240 working women, 120 working women taken from government, non-government organizations (Highly and middle educated). Questionnaire used for the personal information and for assessing the problems, adjustment and empowerment of working women. Women workers are often subject to sexual harassment, the government should put strict rules for these types of crimes, also public transport system sometimes danger for woman, government should put more inspection. Now a day’s women workers are improved and promote in their workplace and technological work.
