Abstract:India is a country with vast knowledge of art, tradition, and culture. Many people in India still practice traditional artforms for their livelihood. Warli art is an ancient folk art, traditional painting of the Maharashtrian tribe called “Warli'' [1]. This study is taken to document the Impact of Advance tools for inspiration of design by Warli Artisans in Tarapur, Dist.: Palghar. Deals with the history, use of raw materials, techniques and themes used in Warli paintings and their adaptation of traditional paintings on Home textile and Apparel. This study is taken through one on one in depth interviews through various questionnaires such as awareness about the artform, color preferences, most likely motifs and so on. It is exclusively done among the Artisans of Tarapur and the people of various age groups of Mumbai city. Warli art is an indigenous art of Maharashtra, made using white color, minimum tools, and varieties of motifs by using simple lines, shapes like triangles, circles, squares, and dots [2]. This study showcases the adaptability of advanced tools in traditional artforms and their impacts.
