Dyeing of nylon fabric with natural dye extracted from waste leaves of Terminalia catappa locally known as tropical almond tree

Abstract:
Manyrnnatural resources which are being wasted indiscriminately or thrown away as arnwaste product contain useful dyes and pigments. In the present study, naturalrndye extracted from the waste leaves of Terminalia Catappa (tropicalrnalmond) and its application on nylon fabric pretreated with eco-friendly andrnnoneco-friendly mordants have been carried out successfully. Different shadesrnwith excellent to good fastness properties have been obtained.
